Daniel Babcock
CEO and Founder
Six months after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology, Dan borrowed $7,500 to launch a company called Modern Marketing Concepts, Inc in Upstate NY. Today, 35 years later, MMC is a leading data, technology, sales, and marketing company that generates hundreds of millions in revenue for top distributors and manufacturers in the building products and industrial marketplace.
In 2000, he was recognized as Ernst and Young Upstate NY Entrepreneur of the year.
In 2014, Dan launched SalesMark Ventures to capitalize on opportunities to commercialize “big ideas” from entrepreneurs and owners of unique IP, products, & services. Motili and Toolbelt Data are two data, analytics, and technology companies that were built and exited under the SalesMark Ventures umbrella.
Dan believes in fostering a culture of the "square deal," making tomorrow better than today, and work/life balance.

Bringing his 11+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning, and analysis, Corey started his SalesMark journey in 2017. He has an excellent aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and finding better ways to accomplish goals.
Throughout his career, Corey's engaged in business model development, pricing, distribution, and overall business decision-making. He supports SalesMark Ventures' investment as the CFO.
Corey is passionate about turning a founder's vision into a functioning business.
